INERTIA - replacing the conflicting former values of RIGHT FIRST TIME and CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT, this new value reflects exactly where we are as a business: running to stand still, always demanding more yet settling for less. POKEBOWL - replacing our earlier dalliance with the hackneyed faux-Japanese concept of KAIZEN, Pokebowl reflects the zingy freshness that we demand for our lunches, only in a business concept. May be Malaysian, or just made up; almost definitely not necessarily Japanese but we will write it in a racist font and make you wear it on a t-shirt. DO WHAT I SAY - Doing the right thing for the customer is so important. But on the other hand, I’ve been promoted above you so go figure. JFDI. PARK AND RIDE - reflecting our new eco-office strategy, you may no longer park your car within 10km of the security-patrolled perimeter. Drive to the outskirts and catch a bus. RESPECT - all colleagues must show respect to their superiors. And, respectfully, if you also want respect then work harder. GIN O’CLOCK - everyone loves knocking off time and our employees need, more than most, some down time to hit the bottle. Gin o’clock is scheduled for 10am every Monday.
